Many people in my family have type 2 diabetes and some have type 1. My husband and next door neighbor (Paul) have been having great reuslts with a new all-natural product. We've taken it for about 3 weeks now and my husband's leg and feet pain is almost gone (also pain in his arms and hands). This with him still smoking cigars a few hours per night! Wish we could see what it'd do without THAT! Our neighbor started feeling better the next day. My depression and anxiety disorder seems to have disappeared and my daughter has quit having chest pains and low energy. It's like she's a different person! I've been talking to people all over the country with many terrific results. This stuff releases your adult stem cells from your own bone marrow and travels to needed organs, etc. to repair damage. I am simply astounded at the difference i'm feeling and seeing in people i love!

Response to comment:
When I was 1st diagnosed w T2 the 1st thing I did was reduce my carbs. Although I did not get approach what is considered LC (you) My initial 2 hr PP readings were anywhere from 390 mg/dl to 425 mg/dl. These came down to around 150 mg/dl in 6 weeks. I also lost about 15 pounds during this period. So I knew I was on the right track. Then I got onto low GI foods and started to eat more carbs. I soon started to regain weight and my BG worsened although it was still not as bad as before.

I have only been on serious LC (less than 30 gm/day) for a few months now. My BG readings are for the most part within the range for non-diabetics Katharine uses. I do not take any medication. Instead, I use supplements such as R+ lipoic acid sustained release (this is very different than the lipoic acid everyone else treating diabetes seems to use and R+ is much more effective) and an EFA supplement. I would like to write about both of these. My story is quite interesting.

Hi Ryan,

This is just a quick note to compliment you for the great job you are
doing with Dsolve. About 2.5 years ago I found out that I have T2
diabetes. Being that I am problem solver my nature and also having had a
lot of experience with alternative medicine as well as a good nose for
politics I wanted nothing to do with the traditional high carb, low fat
approach. Thus it was that after wounding my way through the levels of
misinformation, disinformation and frank lies that I have finally
navigated through the LC sites to arrive at Dsolve. Your forum has huge
potential to mobilize the resources of us problem solvers out there.

I have had numerous email exchanges with Katharine Morrison and find her
very open minded and receptive to new ideas. She is a great asset to
Dsolve.

There are a few areas I am into that have produced exceptional results
for me that I would like to write about on Dsolve. I will get back to
you again soon.

Best regards,

Hey David,

Thanks for the kind words regarding D-solve. I would be thrilled to add you as a contributor to D-solve. The system is setup such that any user can be made a "contributor" or "publisher". I actually starting working on a concept where each user could have a sandbox for their own content, but realized it would end up diluting the focus of the website when my first pilot user for the section wanted to tackle a much broader topic then the focus of the site. I can tell from your comments that the areas you are talking about relate to diabetes management and would be happy to find a way to fold in any contributions you have.

I can definitely relate to your problem solving approach. I finally did the same and came to my own conclusion using my own hard numbers (tracked every single thing I ate, all my insulin, all my exercise) and there is NO way to use the ADA approach and achieve normal blood sugars. I am convinced that for most type 2s and type 1s this is the only approach that can help someone achieve normal blood sugars. When I read Dr. Bernstein's intro chapter I was astounded at what parallel path we had both taken--have you read that chapter (if you don't have his book it might be free online).

I look forward to future communications and any contributions you would like to make. How long have you been using a low carb/low insulin approach--do you have any numbers or would you be interested in doing a "Success Story" write-up? I am always looking for more--I know there are thousands, and I believe it helps to publish them.

Take Care,
Ryan
